Veteran actor Mohan Babu has denied allegations that he and his son, Manchu Manoj, filed police complaints against each other. This clarification comes after media reports claimed the two had dialed 100, accusing each other of physical assault.

Rumored Family Rift

On Sunday morning, reports surfaced alleging a confrontation between the Manchu family members over property disputes. According to initial claims, Manoj filed a complaint at the Pahadi Shareef Police Station, accusing his father of physically assaulting him.

Supposed injuries from the alleged scuffle were also mentioned. In response, it was reported that Mohan Babu lodged a counter-complaint, accusing Manoj of attacking him.

Mohan Babu’s Statement

To address the rumors, Mohan Babu issued a press statement through his spokesperson, stating:

“The rumor that Manchu Manoj and Mohan Babu had lodged complaints against one another is untrue. The media is spreading fictitious reports that Manoj arrived at the police station injured. Don’t spread false propaganda without any evidence”

Media Reports Add Complexity

Despite Mohan Babu’s denial, additional reports suggested that Manoj claimed an individual named Vinay, associated with Mohan Babu University, assaulted him on Mohan Babu’s orders. The alleged altercation has fueled ongoing speculation about a deeper family conflict.

Historical Family Feuds

This isn’t the first instance of publicized disputes within the Manchu family. In 2023, Manoj accused his brother, Vishnu Manchu, of assaulting relatives and aides, a claim Vishnu later dismissed as part of a “reality show.”

Both Manoj and their sister, Lakshmi Manchu, denied being involved in any such production.

As the situation develops, neither Mohan Babu nor Manchu Manoj has spoken to the press directly.
